In December 2024, 3FM’s ‘Glazen Huis’ focused on Metakids, a foundation supporting children with metabolic disorders.

Education offers perspective. That became clear when Be the Planet Foundation, in collaboration with NGO Grameen Shikkha, opened the doors of a slum school in Dhaka, Bangladesh in early 2025. The first lessons have now begun, and we would like to introduce two of the students: Samira and Samir.

The Be the Planet Foundation has made a financial contribution to the Grameen Shikkha Vocational Training Centre in Bangladesh. This organization provides education and training to vulnerable communities to improve their living conditions.

Together with 48 other children, they attend a slum school made possible in part by the financial support of the Be the Planet Foundation.
